The Moon Q#7: Quell

Despite being 109 times smaller than the sun, Earth has the power to quell the sun’s light.

The sun is so large that about 1,300,000 planet Earths can fit inside of it, yet still, when the earth places itself between the sun and the moon, Earth’s shadow completely covers the moon: a total lunar eclipse occurs.

What in your life is significantly smaller than a force you need protection from, but has the potential to eclipse it completely, nonetheless?
