A vision has struck with such a force Creative Love Navigator, that you feel called to journey—find the Sister Goddesses of Fate—those that spin the thread of destiny for each person’s life tapestry, from birth to death.
You’ve been struggling with kismet Captain, look out upon the ocean of possibilities and know that the voyage ahead is best journeyed by stepping back and looking at the bigger picture. Trust the unexpected and dance with the twists of fate, “you can’t foresee the surprises ahead”; however, you can be aware of when twisters are circling that may end up leaving you nowhere.
“Round and round she goes, where she stops, nobody knows.”
The Fates, in Greek mythology, the Moirai—were the white-robed incarnations of destiny: Clotho (the spinner of the threads), Lachesis (the allotter of shares) and Atropos (the unturnable cutter of portions).
The Way It Is
There’s a thread you follow. It goes among
things that change. But it doesn’t change.
People wonder about what you are pursuing.
You have to explain about the thread.
But it is hard for others to see.
While you hold it you can’t get lost.
Tragedies happen; people get hurt
or die; and you suffer and get old.
Nothing you do can stop time’s unfolding.
You don’t ever let go of the thread.
By William Stafford, from The Way It Is, 1998
Ask the Goddesses how your thread was weaved into our shared tapestry; ask about the path that you have walked; ask about the wheel the sisters used to part, spin and portion your life; ask if the thread is bare and needs attending, and/or, if it is strong and thriving. There are so many questions that we can ask the weavers of destiny, do you have any?
Ask your questions and share the answers, hear/here…through sound, movement, poetry, video, photograph, or any medium that inspires you in the moment. Post in your social media networks, and in our CLN creation space…
