Our Sweet Masculine Sovereign at times asks, demands, and convinces for things to stop, having listened to the lamentations of their people impacted by the many forms of oppression the Sovereign uses voice to sway the consciousness of those whom block the path to power….
To remember the needs of the people, the Sovereign keeps reminders, on altars, in memory, in story, in body, in prayer and meditation.
When asked, how do you carry the realities of genocide and enslavement with you in your daily life, CLNer, S. Bee said,
“Enslavement and genocide live with me constantly and are marked on my altar by specific items; I carry a steady prayer for the healing of the wounds of enslavement and genocide. The awareness is also marked in more pointed ways throughout the day, when I am impacted by the mark of enslavement and genocide on my interpersonal relationships, current events, institutional oppression…and in this moment it feels like it is held in a basket or bundle wrap in a cloth, carried with other sacred items…it is carried with care.”
How do you carry the realities of genocide and enslavement with you in your daily life?
